How can you ask them to especially when it is religious, if you think or you know someone Else's beliefs are totally wrong then you should leave it, I mean can you even imagine the amount of pain you would be causing someone. Let them be happy being wrong and die thinking or knowing they have chosen the right path.

It needs quite a character to admit a mistake and say sorry and many a person can just not most likely because they think they will be diminished or devaluated. While in my opinion it is the contrary. Nobody is perfect and recognizing one's own limitations is in my opinion a quality.
This little word "sorry" is so powerful, it mends a lot of broken things and truly it makes you feel better.

In my case it's because I'm stubborn and I have way too much pride. However, I can't speak for anyone else.

one word. pride. ok ok two words. pride and stubborness but its more of pride. they feel as if they are stepping down from their throne if they admit they are wrong. I know because i am one of those ppl
