Money is needed to survive. Money would give me security, ability to travel, college for my son and I could stay home with my 6 month old instead of putting him in daycare.

More money right now would make me happier because that would give me the opportunity to move into a house and support my son a little better. Not saying that I can't support him at all, I just want to shower him every chance I can. More money will mean more trips, more clothes & shoes. Having all of the money in the world doesn't bring you happiness at the end of the day. After shopping and everything else, at night, Im sure it would be lonely. You need some one to share your life with. Having my my son and my bf by myside every corner I turn, is a sure blessing to me. Money could never replace that!

I would say for people that HAVE been dead *** broke in the past; that YES, it can! They KNOW what it's like not to have the basics, or what alot of us call the "Basics" and when those needs are no longer a struggle; than there's more time to think about other things; and when the burdon of the daily survival is taken away; then thoughts turn to the pursuit of happiness.. Siver Spooner's seem, by large, to have troube with that; NOT knowing what it's like to worry about the power getting cut off, or not having enough money to feed your family or yourself for that matter; they tend to take everything for granted; and they are the first to jump up and say "Money can't buy you happiness". Well, maybe it can't, but it sure is a good place to start!

Money can buy many many things and it can certainly make life alot easier on you! I have an awesome house on 15 acres with 15 horses and dogs. I have nice furniture, lots of food, and an awesome hubby and son. BUT I would rather live in a dog house with someone I love than live in a mansion and be miserable and not loved for who Iam. Know what I mean? Thanksfully I do have the best of both of these things so Im extremely happy.

I would love to find out. I know that most marriages that end in divorce do because of financial problems. I think that a certain amount of MONEY not STUFF is necessary for happiness. Problem is people get into so much trying to acquire stuff.

Money doesn't always equal happiness. But it sure relieves alot of stress and worries. To me, the things that equal happiness is health and love.

Have you seen the shows about the lottery winners? Many of them had lots of problems. I truly agree with what the late Biggie Smalls said "mo money mo problems", and unfortunately the problems are usually other people.

if you use it correctly like you stated, then yes, maybe it does.
but in most cases, people with alot of money don't put it into good things and just get into trouble.
alot of times poor people are happier than the super rich.
