I bet more fans would welcome him back than not. He has done a lot for the team in his prime years & they shouldn't forget all that.

Nothing left in the tank and I believe the Yankees, Red Sox, and Clemens realize that. It takes a little longer for some players to realize it is time to go.

Good lord no...I would have been pissed if the Sox signed him last year...and Kris when you say "About as much as Wade Boggs and Johnny Damon." are you implying that Boggs wouldn't have been welcomed back into Boston? I know a lot of people (me included) that would have been happy to have had him back...I was at a Red Sox vs. Yankees at Fenway back in '93 (which was his first year with the Yankees) and he got one of the loudest standing o's I had ever heard...maybe it is because he was one of my favorite players when I was growing up but I think Boggs would have been welcomed back to Boston...back to the question though...Clemens is not welcome back in Boston wearing a Sox uniform.

i do no longer blame the guy. i think of the followers tend to be extra caught up in the sox/yankees contention than the gamers... despite if that's the place the main suitable grant became into for him, i won't be able to fault him, provided that i think of maximum gamers could do it (Johnny Damon, every person?).

Right now they will all say that they would not do it; then when he took the mound you would hear nothing but cheers and talk of how great he is; a guy striking out 10 in six innings makes people forget a lot!

Not a chance. I'm surprised they welcomed Schilling back.
