Randy Johnson had 11 starts for the Astros in 1998. He was traded at the deadline by Seattle for Freddy Garcia, John Halama, and Carlos Guillen.
So the idea that all pitched for Astros and Yankees is good.

No, I dont imagine Mitchell named Clemens and Pettitte because he worked for the pink Sox. even as I dont imagine he's thoroughly independent, i do not imagine he cares what communities the gamers performed for. I heard that Varitek, Trot Nixon, Mo Vaugh, and Nomar were also between those named contained in the record, and they are linked with the pink Sox better than with the different crew.

To the guy who said Randy Johnson didn't play for the astros you're wrong he did have a very short stint there, I don't even think it was a full year.

They are all southpaws who pitched for the Astros and the Yankees.
Except Clemens, who is a righty.

They all pitched for the Astros & Yankees, pitched in both the NL and AL, won 20 games more than once, and all have rings. I am guessing they all have pitched in World Series clinching games as well.
Ironically, all wieghed about 225 lbs in their prime despite big differences in height.
