Well, they don't calculate them by hand. Computers crunch all the numbers in seconds.
Have you no sense of humor or whimsy?
They're getting a lot of positive, free publicity; they probably figure it's worth the few minutes of time it took.

It is called, using a computer. LOL It is not that hard to figure out, just ask the right computer the right question and feed them the right background data.
