Firstly, a lot of you need to get your facts right. They are not using actual babies/foetuses for cosmetics. No make up is made out of dead babies. Stem cells may be being used by scientists to develop new techniques, and these stem cells may be coming from placentas/aborted foetuses. These could be used, amongst other medical advances/uses, for developments in cosmetic surgery (not cosmetics themselves - they are not skinning dead pre-term babies and using them for face lifts.) I'm not saying I agree with this for cosmetic enhancement reasons at all. I am completely against it for that. However, I think any advances in medicine to fight disease/cancer etc is fantastic and if using stem cells from foetuses (with parental permission) is a way of doing this, I whole heartedly agree with it.

I have worked on Gynae for many years (in the UK) and any babies aborted or miscarried within the hospital I work in are all sent to the mortuary. Every two weeks any foetuses or embryos are taken to the crematorium and a parson holds a service for them before they are cremated. They are certainly NOT given to cosmetics companies or any other company for that matter.

Rubbish. You provide the link to the 'research' if it's true!
BTW - a placenta is not an aborted baby, it's a placenta.

Alright smarty!!! They do not make cosmetics out of fetuses. What "sweetness" is referring to in her "researched web page" is COSMETIC SURGERY, in LONDON not the US.

Just because somebody posted something on the internet doesn't mean that it's true. You shouldn't be allowed to talk to anybody anymore...
