I'm interested in doing MT from home since I'm going to be in nursing school and can't work the regular 8-5.

If you are talking about medical transcription, unless you've had a couple years experience in that type of work in a hospital or other medical organization, your chances of finding work from home are close to non-existent. And by "them" to get your money back from, I'm assuming you are talking about some website that you thought promised to find you jobs - not likely you will get the money back, sorry.
