You know the way they make so many different brands I will buy a two strands of Christmas lights and just use one strand for replacement bulbs.

Most stores who sell the lights also carry replacement bulbs. Look for a card with 5-8 bulbs on it (with the ornaments, usually).

The bulbs won't have the green 'sockets' attached, so that they can be used on any brand of lights. Pull the bad bulb (and socket) out of the strand. Straighten the tiny copper wires, and pull the bad bulb out of the socket. Insert the new one, getting one tiny wire through each hole. Bend them back, and re-insert.

Pretty much anywhere that sells Christmas light sets will have replacement bulbs. Lowes, Home Depot, Wal-mart etc.

There are many types of bulbs, which one is it? I know that at Lowes, you can get replacement bulbs. I have seen them at RiteAid, Walgreens, any major retailer should have them.
