No plates on the car, and my insurance company will not pay out for the £10,000 worth of repairs, what shall i do, the smashed escort was found but with no details n driver help!!!

it had no plates, and i have been told i will never find who did it, so my insurance company wont pay out. after just buying the dbs, i am tight and can not afford £10,000 should i sell the car for spares?

I sued the insurance guys and have been told when the court case is held, i will probaly win, due to this being a top aston insurance specialist!!!thanks to those who are helping, and if your wondering about why i can not afford repair, i may be rich but money don't grow on trees.

There is nothing you can do. Keeping the machine in a non roadworthy state (no plates) leaves you on your own.

What a crappy thing to happen - unfortunately I cannot give any advice as i am not knowledgeable enough in this area - just wanted to say how awful that is - you work hard to get yourself an amazing car then this happens - there definitely should be more done by the government to combat this problem!

I hope you achieve a satisfying result in the end!!

You should have had better insurance. Bit of a Bum deal. Who are you insured with so the rest of us can steer clear

you own £100k worth of car and you cannot afford to repair it at 10k ? and you dont have comprensive insurance, go ont ell us the one about the three bears..............
mind if your interested i will sell you my 1990 virage 22k miles comcourse condition for £25k and mines a real one!

from the vin number and engine number dvla will give the registration.. from that you get the last registered keeper .. thats your start ,, any more help email me as i dont really want to post it ere...
