In Harris County, (Texas) you can go online to the County Clerk's website and all Marriage licenses are public info.

Try going to your county clerk's office and see if they have an online database that is available online, if not, you would have to go to the actual office.

It's a public record, but you need to know the state that they were married in. Knowing the county would also be a help.

Divorces are public records too - but again, you need to know what state the divorce proceedings took place in.

Yes, marriage licenses are public. You'll have to go to the court house and look up the document..Might cost a few bucks, I'm not sure about that...

Depending on where they got married, in some places that marriages are performed there isn't any legal documentation.
But in just about every state in the US as long as they signed the papers and filed them you can find out.
