it says to download itunes 7.5, so i did but wen i plug it in to put in songs, it tells me to get 7.5 when i just did. so i downloaded it again and the same thing happened :[[

Well, you not only download iTunes, you also install it obviously. Than you can use iTunes to get the songs for you nano.

Try rebooting your PC, then plug in the iPod.
If rebooting didn't fix it - use control panel/add remove programs to uninstall iTunes. reboot. Reinstall iTunes. reboot - now try your iPod.
