If so, then this answer is definitely for you. Now I was
watching the news, the other day. And I see this.....
Don Imus is back on the radio. OK. He seemed the
same ol guy, and with 2 Black people by his side.
Now is this real or fake ? Playing the race card, but
in reverse ? Using a decoy, like this current
Administration", to represent Blacks, even though his
intent, or state of mind, is still racist ? How do you
as a White Person, feel about this situation ? And how
do you see the African Americans, or other people of
color, around the whole world ? Be honest. Thank
you very much. Best answer wins. *

I am white. I don't have a problem with people simply because they are another race. There are plenty of respectable black people, just as there are plenty of disrespectful white people. I don't like ignorant people, lazy people, and disrespectful people. Regardless of race, religion, gender, or sexual orientation.

It sounds like he may be doing that; by having two blacks with him, he might think that people will be more accepting of him. I think that will only work if he has truly changed his thinking.

The strange thing is that the black people I meet in person are always really nice, but here on Yahoo Answers, a lot of them (not all, but many) seem to have a strong hatred for whites. Some think that reverse racism and white guilt are okay because of what was done to the black community decades ago; an eye for an eye, so to speak. What people don't realize is that whites are then going to retaliate because of that, and then blacks are going to retaliate, and it's going to keep happening over and over again. Again, not all black people are like this, but it would be nice if everyone could settle for equality and this game of getting even be ended.

Technically I am not. Despite being an Eastern European and having Slavic blood , my ancestors were nomadic horse archers from Central Asia. However I do look white and I do not care about race. Don Imus quit just recently because of controversy related to comments he made. Really it does not matter.

what pisses me off about the whole Imus thing is, there are penty of black DJs out there down grading other races of people esp, white people and why don't we hear about them losing their job, because they don't lose their job, His work affects me none if someone American, Mexican. Canadiam, African, or Japanese want to talk to the public about something like that on the air if I don't agrre with what they are saying i have the power to tune them out.

I think it is great that Imus is back on the air. I rarely listen to him but no one should loose their job because of a harmless joke. sharpton and jackson don't call for the firing by name of rappers that use worse terms ever day. until that happens they have no right to get whites fired either.

I don't think Don Imus is racist, I think he said something stupid. Stupidity does not make you racist, although many racists are stupid. I don't care what color your skin is, I base my judgements on actions and personality.

I try to avoid having an opinion about these things because it reeks of publicity stunts.
