... Let's hear some juicy stories!

I'm intrigued by this subject after Museofsatie brought an interesting story up in my last question.

The one brought up was The Manic Street Preacher's singer's disappearance back in 1995... no trace of him was ever seen again

Good one Rckets! Certainly not in the context of death, but of pop culture in general...did she, or did she not write that about him? hmmm

What I wanna know is if Jim Morrison really died at the Rock and Roll Circus in France, instead of the hotel they claim he did...

Yikes! if that were true, that's certainly more controversy than mystery. Good one Sookie

I've heard the same about Bowie and Fredie Mercury (pre-HIV days) and Bowie and Iggy Pop, thanks to "Velvet Goldmine" the movie.

The death of Jimi Hendrix September 18, 1970 is one, as is Jim Morrison's in 1971. Both of these, in my view, were likely just overdoses, and the only real question is where these two guys actually died, not how, or by whom - it was self induced, in my view.

I think the death of Sid Vicious in 1979 is more of a mystery, with foul play looking likely, in my view - the heroin was 99% pure, which doesn't mean much to me personally, but does to folks who have used heroin. But with him as with JH and JM, he ingested the drug(s), so maybe not such a mystery.

The driver to Sid's mystery is of course his girlfriend Nancy's death - she was murdered. Who the killer(s) are will likely never be known.

The best one for me was already mentioned, regarding the Manic Street Preachers. Sadly, those CDs ended up victim to one of those "garage sales" I'm infamous for.

Carly Simon - You're So Vain - Is it really about Warren Beatty? Will we ever truly know?

Speaking of Bowie and Jagger, were they really sexual partners on and off?

BC - Trent's personal life could easily be chalked up to one large mystery. I've wondered about those Tori Amos rumors as well. :)

Is it true that Jimmy Page and Robert Plant practiced voodoo and black magic which might have caused some terrible things to happen to the people associated with them? (Plant's son, John Bonham, etc.)

Did Bowie's (first) wife really find David in bed with Mick Jagger?

Probably not, but his wife still published it in her book.

When Tori Amos said she made Trent "dinner" one night... was she really talking about baked chicken... ? I'm betting there was something else going on.
I guess we'll never know...
