You ask a good question. It is ironic indeed that you are accused of being racist for asking why an award based on race is permitted. Here in the United States I have been asking why we have a TV channel BET (Black Entertainment Television). What ever happened to the concept of color blindness? What ever happened to the concept of judging people by the content of their character instead of the color of their skin? Yet, we still have a Miss Black America pageant. Even though black women not only compete but have won the regular Miss America Pageant.
These things only serve to divide us further. I do not support such racially exclusive things regardless of the race that is perpetrating the bigotry.
There is only one race, the Human race!

Why don't you and the rest of the BNP followers set one up. Get the Klu Klux Klan to sponser it? (I would be interested to see what catagories you would have since most of today's music is based on Black music)
Whilst the rest of us embrace diversity and enjoy Rock n Roll, Drum and Bass, Jazz, Bhangra, Latin, etc, all non-white based music
