Anything you deliberately do that isn't work. Using the bathroom isn't stealing company time because everyone has to use the bathroom. Using the bathroom for 15 minutes an hour would be stealing company time because it isn't customary and usual.

Reading Yahoo! answers and answering questions from work would certainly be considered stealing company time!!

You don't go to jail for it, you lose your job for it.

good luck!

Going to the bathroom is not considered stealing company time unless you are just going in there to waste time. Talking on the phone taking care of personal business, doing your nails, combing your hair...just not doing what you are being paid to do is considered stealing company time. You are paid to work for the company doing what they expect of you. You won't go to jail for it. You might have to look for a new job when they fire you for wasting their time.
