It seems that way when the radical environmentalists want to take away from one for the sake of the other.

as long as you buy your indulgences (carbon credits) you should be okay.

It's amazing, in fact, the left out there decrying devout Christianity or Catholicism or anything of the sort. They are as religious about what it is they believe as anybody else. They are as intolerant of people who disagree. They also have to rely on faith. Faith is that which is not provable. In order to accept belief in something, you must have faith if it can't be proved. That sums up the left's association and attachment to global warming. It represents an opportunity for liberals to do everything they want to do in terms of controlling and limiting freedom and liberty. They blame the American people and civilized peoples all over the world for destroying the planet. They infuse everybody with as much guilt for destroying the planet and how is this guilt ladled out? It is ladled out on the basis that your lifestyle is too rich, that your lifestyle is based on greed, that your lifestyle is based on selfishness, and it's also based on the fact that you don't care about anybody else but yourself, that you are damaging the planet in the process. They have to get hold of you to save the planet, their god.

They have to get hold of you to save their religion. In the process of making you feel guilty, you will support massive increases in the size of government and state, in order to fix the problem that you have caused, and you will gladly fork over more and more taxes to do this while in the throes of your guilt.

The Soviets used to put political dissidents in mental institutions and now some right-wing wackos say that liberalism is a mental illness.
Global warming is science, not religion, but burning one less candle at Hanukkah would be a purely symbolic act. Mixing religion and politics in this way is probably not a good idea.

You are right in ascerting that Global warming, along with associated Green ideology, has become a "belief system" as strong as a true religion with beliefs, dieties, and theology.
Its just that the Green "religion" has gone so far as to evolve into an anti-human dogma where the Earth is better off without human beings!, or that we should all revert back to some kind of bio-degradable, eco-friendly, subsistance-oriented economy like the stone age.

This is almost as ridiculous as the woman who sterilized herself to save the environment. A) Climate change has been happening since the dawn of time. B) No one knows for a fact that we are even a contributing cause, as it occurred without the presence of humans for thousands of years. and C) The only way it's similar to any religion is that it's just a big group of gullible people getting worked up over a hypothesis, not a fact.

Global warming is occurring but unlike the environmental nutjobs like Gore fail to mention is that this has happened before and will happen again it is the nature of the planet. The only point of debate is how much or how little influence our activity is having. As the planet gets warmer we like every other species on the planet must do what always must be done we must adapt or die.

It's amazing to me that people who scream and yell that they don't want some religious rules forced down their throats are all willing to force some scientific "opinion" down other people's throats.

Catastrophic Global Warming - a belief based entirely on computer projections of questionable reliability that mankind is destroying the world, requiring intrusive government regulation of people's lifestyles to achieve some sort of eco-salvation.

Judaism - a belief based on eye-witness accounts of miracles that happened IN THE PAST, which asks people to voluntarily accept rules and regulations for their own betterment and their own salvation.

Hmmm....which sounds more reasonable a religion?

There they go with their preaching the word of Al the Goracle.

There are many people who just light candles for the tradition and for their children," he said. "To tell a child on the eighth day that we are not lighting the last candle as a sacrifice for the environment is an act that is not only educational but also will prevent the release of a huge amount of carbon dioxide that would hurt the environment."

the Rothschilds promote the man caused global warming myth to get the goyim to agree to their own oppression and even agree to genocide - which is part of the main "population control" goals of the Zionist NWO.

The Rothschilds are among the main protagonist behind the stae of Israel - in fact the so called Balfour Decalation was a letter addressed to "Lord"Rothschild - so there's the real connection.

FACT: CO2 is a greenhouse gas
FACT: CO2 concentrations are increasing
FACT: the increased CO2 concentrations are the result of human activity
FACT: the increased concentration of greenhouse gases increases the greenhouse effect
FACT: an increased greenhouse effect increases the long term average temperature

Sorry for the religion, this is science. Science only believe in what can be demonstrated or follows demonstrated empirical or theoretical knowledge.
