Welcome to my world. I'm Russian and I've always gotten the brunt of that. I was born in Russia and we came here because of my fathers job and we live her legally and PERMANENTLY without us having to do anything shady. I'm not fat, ugly or stupid and I always look good even when I go to just college (I'm not saying I wear a cocktail dress, but I do wear some nice blouses and jeans and very stylish flats. I hate flip-flops fyi). I would say "jealousy" but that's a very poor excuse. I think more it's "uninformed". Tell me, the people that tell you these things - have they ever been OUTSIDE the US? Chances are, no. People base such opinions on what others have said even though maybe others do not know any better. This is a case of the blind leading the blind.
