If he admits he's gay, he will have less dignity than before his admission. He has spent his whole life voting against legislation that supports homosexual lifestyles, so saying he is gay now would only make him seem like a self-loathing pitiful man - which he may already be.

It seems to me that most "Gay's", have came out of the closet. If being a homosexual is so appealing to people, why do they act so ashamed about it? Why do they try to keep it a secret? I know why, but I would like your opinion.
Maybe deep down inside their own convictions are judging them. I am straight, and I am not trying to judge anyone who is gay. If larry Craig is gay, it is something for him to work out. It is no one elses job to do that for him. Sounds like he may be having some questions about his own sexuality.

It would be like Osama Bin Laden admitting he is a Christian down deep inside. It would invalidate what the man publicly stood for his whole life.
Perhaps some day he will find the courage to view himself as he really is instead of image he crafted for so many years.

I don't care who anyone is or what they do as a career, personal sexual preference should not force anyone to lose their job. Either by force or by resignation.
