michael jackson had the first plastic surgery in 1979 when he was practicing a spin and he fell on his face. He had to have it fixed and in the process requested that it also be made a bit smaller. A few years later, he was having some breathing complications from that previous surgery so he had to have the inside reconstructed, and in the process once again asked to have it made smaller, as he had always wanted. also around 87, he wanted a cleft in his chin for some random reason so he had it done. that is the ONLY plastic surgery michael jackson has EVER had. I know michael's face better than a plastic surgeon and i can confirm all of this. also, even IF you all choose to believe that he has indeed had more than three surgeries, he is entitled too. and he has the right to not be criticized for it. There are a zillion other celebrities that have had countless cosmetic surgeries done and they don't get nearly as bad a reputation for it. and as for whether michael's surgery was "the right decision" or not, in the end, it IS HIS decision and not ours and we owe it to him not to judge him so harshly for it.

Hello, I personally don t know why he had plastic surgeries but I think it s either he didn t like the way he looked because his dad would pick on him, the skin condition he said he had, or because he got burned. Not sure exactly why...it could be all three but do I think he made the right decision? Yes and no because I thought he was so sexy when he was black...especially during motown 25 Era. He did need surgery, but a little surgery was okay though. I think it s a right decision because it probably made Michael more confident about himself! I think he was pleased with the way he looked after they surgery. Overall, it was a good and a bad decision

michael jackson did not get plastic surgery to become white. he had a disease called vitiligo which causes depigmentation of the skin, so basically it causes spots all over ur body. michael tried to hide it with make up at first but then it got worse. so he had to resort to using something to even out his skin tone. he didnt want to be white. he had no choice

people said Michael Jackson had plastic surgery because he burnt his face. therefore decided to make plastic surgery to cover his burnt face.

He had so much plastic surgeries because his father used to make fun of him when Michael was little,so he decided to make a plastic surgery but he had not just 1 he had too many and that's why his nose is how it is today.Personally I think he shouldn't have had so many surgeries cause I liked him as he was back in the Off the wall era!But I respect his decisions and I have nothing more to say.

It stems from his childhood. He always thought that he was an ugly person and just didn't like the way he looked. He has major self esteem issues. It is so sad because he was such a handsome man before his dramatic transformation. I don't think he needed all of the plastic surgery.

As far as it being the right decision, that is something that he has to ask himself.

No. I watched a presentation on Michaels past a couple of years ago. He came back from a concert or was going to a concert and a paparazzi or reporter made fun of his acne like he was horrible. I think being criticized so much as a child, especially by his father and saw what his brothers did behind closed doors corrupted him and made him feel ashamed of himself. Mike, what were you thinking?

I think that he can do whatever he wants, he is a grown man, and if cosmetic surgery makes him happy, then let him do it, there are worse looking celebs that have gotten cosmetic surgery, and if you ask me, I don't think that he looks bad with it. But lets just look at some creepy plastic surgery victims: Janis Dickinson (sorry, she looks like a drag queen), Pete Burns(he IS a drag queen), Courtney Love (eeeks), Donatella Versaci, Melanie Griffith, Jocelyn Wildenstein.
