Are there people out there in the world who have a certain
fetish for a good, sound Christmas story. Or maybe even
a movie. There are so many great ones out there.
Like The Grinch Who Stole Christmas. And Rudolph,
or even Frosty The Snowman. Which is kind of a
self pity film, if you ask me. But anyway, give me your
favourite Christmas time movie. Old or new. It does not
matter. My pick is The Christmas Carol. The 1984
version, with George, uh whatever his last name is.
The real Scrooge. List yours here on the panel.
And if I like it the most, you get best answer.

Well there's Christmas movies and Christmas movies...
The genuine Christmas themes:
For me "Miracle on 34th Street" outdoes "Its a Wonderful Life"

Then there's the Hollywood scramble to see who can have THE Christmas film, most years. Narnia, indisputably in 2005, but this year it's more controversial.

And finally the other tradition: possibly more British than American...
"Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a good war film to watch whilst basking in that post-turkey afterglow..."
(See URL below. I''m not making this up.)

The classics here are "The Heroes of Telemark", starring Kirk Douglas's chin,
Frank Sinatra's "Von Ryan's Express"
and of course Steve McQueen on a motorbike in "The Great Escape."

Oh no my friend the BEST version of A Christmas Carol is the VERY original! The one made in the 1930's! It's classic, I love watching it on Christmas Eve :)

My other 'must watch' is A Christmas Story! "you'll shoot your eye out" lol

I have two top Christmas movies. For a classic, I like White Christmas with Bing Crosby. From the movies made in recent years, I like Love Actually.
