Here you see the problem of letting Y!A categorize your question for you. It saw the word "County" and decided you were asking a Geography question.

You aren't going to get the answer you need from people who are interested in Geography. You should ask again and pick the category "Law & Ethics" under "Politics & Government".

Hi:

I would cite it as Name of Case [i.e., Doe v. Smith, or Shrek v. Superior Court of Alameda County], 562 Pacific Reporter 2d 1320-1323 (Calif Supreme Court, January 21, 1926).

The I found this citation style: http://www.library.unr.edu/depts/bgic/guides/government/cite.html , but I would never recommend inserting the parenthetical between the volumn and page numbers as advocated by the style guide. It is just too unfamiliar of a style. All legal papers and most newspapers and periodicals would have the page(s) followed by the year and the deciding court.
