Has Bush's credibility wavered at all in your mind? With the recent report by the United States National Intelligence Estimate stating Iran is NOT an immediate threat
(http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/7126117.stm) after Bush and his administration REPEATEDLY have said they are ("Mr. Bush said he had “told people that if you’re interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.” http://www.nytimes.com/2007/10/18/washington/18prexy.html)) and beating the drum for war, doesn't this make him seem a little loony? Is he oblivious to reason? How would you defend this blatant example of fearmongering and manipulation?
"Bush: US must remain vigilant on Iran"

Are you even a little embarrassed? I'm sorry in advance for offending anyone, I'm just perplexed that anyone would continue to support this guy.

Gubmint: Sure Iran NOT having the capacity for nuclear weapons is a good thing. It has little to do with Bush and his "hardline stance" though. According to the report, Iran's nuclear weapons development program has been halted since the fall of 2003 because of INTERNATIONAL PRESSURE. We have been manipulated again and again and again.

I don't feel "eager" to criticize Bush either. I'm just allergic to bullsh*t in all forms, from right or left or whatever.

Wittwats: Okay, point taken. All I've done is read other people's interpretations (including differing views). I looked and can't find the report online. Can you please provide a link to the text?

Uh, when have Bush apologists (or Bush himself) ever given ANY credence to fact, evidence, reality, or truth itself?
Self-delusion is one mighty force.

(1) I suppose we will get used to this, though it does make the line length rather long. (2) This one gets my vote as best innovation. I have always felt cheated when I take the time to read all the answers, narrow it down to two or three, and re-read those to ensure that I vote for the answer that really is the best .............. and after all that I find I need not have bothered because the first poor answer has six votes already and the real best answer doesn't stand a chance because it is on the second page! (3) Haven't seen this yet. (4) Ok .... well, I will just have to remember to save it to my watchlist before reporting. (5) Good idea. I was sceptical about the incorrect reporting until I nearly did it myself the other day. I had sort of registered at the back of my mind that the answer box seemed smaller than usual, but didn't twig until I went to press Submit and saw the button said Report instead! I still think they should move the Report button - stick it over on the right, out of the way. (6) Oh I love this one! I've made good use of it already to give people an extra point for a really good answer. Edit:- Thanks for reminding me, H-man, I too have always thought it should be obligatory to give a reason for reporting. I have seen too many people complain of receiving a VN with no reason given. It seems most unfair to punish people without even telling them which rule they have broken.

That report means absolutely nothing to me. The fact that Iran is or is not developing nuclear weapons, doesn't make them trustworthy. It doesn't erase the public words said so many times by the President of Iran stating that "he wants Israel erased of the world map." Does anyone has enough brains to realize what is going to happen if that wacko go through with his threats???? No report can make me forget that lunatic making clear, word-by-word, public threats against Israel and the USA. And we must be pretty stupid and ignorant if we dare to forget about those threats. Terrorist attacks don't need to include nuclear bombs or dirty bombs to be devastating, OR, the latest fashion, home-grown, spreaded, temper tantrum hatred is so blinding that we already forgot what terrorist did on 9-11 without using nuclear weapons or dirty bombs???????

Doesn't Iran giving up pursuing nuclear weapons validate Bush's hard-line stance on the issue? It is a good thing, just in case you overlooked that in your eagerness to criticize Bush.

we know what his purpose is. OIL is the key word.he doesn't care about anything else. he is psicho.he is nuts. so i wouldn't blame him , but i blame the people thta support him, and those who do nothing to stop him.
9/11 was planned and performed under his orders, and he blamed osama calling him terrorist(when they were friends for a long time and i bet they still are). American soldiers have killed thousands and thousands of inocent people and he calls then heroes. Bush is worse than osama. at least osama was protectig himself after bush tried to kill him because , osama was no useful anymore. so WHO IS THE REAL TERRORIST??? BUSH IS INSANE AND WE SHOULD DO SOMETHING, AND WHEN I SAY WE, I DON'T MEAN ONLY THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, BUT THE WHOLE WORLD.
IT SEEMS THAT AMERICANS ARE SO BLIND, AND THEIR MINDS HAVE BEEN AFFECTED FOR SO MANY "HEROE" MOVIES THEY HAVE SEEN, PRESENTING AMERICANS A THE "ONLY PEOPLE ABLE AND WITH THE RIGHT" TO ATACK OTHERS.
WAKE UP PEOPLE, GET OUT OF YOUR SHELL, AND SEE WHAT IS HAPPENING.
