If you skip two days, use a back up method for the next week. (You don't have to throw out the pack altogether until three days). It's not that its harmful, although its a stronger single hit of hormones, it's just that in that 48 hour window it is possible to ovulate and then your birth control means nothing anyway. In the fine print of your pack it has more details.

You need to stop doing that.
If you are using pills for contraceptive reasons, you are less than 99% protected.
You are also doubling the amount of hormones you get into your body per day by taking two at a time, then skipping a couple of days and doing it again.
You ought to look into the implant or the patch if you can't take them at the same time every day as prescribed.

Birth control should be taking everyday as same time in 24 hours of day. If you skipped once day. You can take two pills, but depend on your doctor were giving as requirement. You don't want mess around in your system. Just make sure take it as same time every day as requirement as follow your doctor. if you skip a couple of days and then take these pills when you remember its not harmful to you you could just get pregnant easily if you are having sex. or you can make you peroid not be normal ie. it will come early or late
you should try to take them everyday at the same time for them to be the most effective i suggest take them when you first wake up in the morning or right before you go to sleep at night. then it will be easier to remember

If your skipping more then 2 days, you should switch to the Depo-shot that way you don't have to worry bout messing up your system or missing the pill. Doesn't that make you sick to take that much of the hormones in the birthcontrol. You also have to be careful becaus some of the brith control have differnt amount of hormones with every week.

I've never missed more than one day. If you do this however, you should be SURE to use backup contraception for at least 7 days or until you start your new pack, and don't be surprised if you bleed. It isn't harmful in any way except when you don't use backup and end up getting pregnant.

If you miss 2 doses or more you are to discontinue the pack and start a fresh pack after your period. Your at risk at not being protected from pregnancy, not to mention your messing with you system pretty good. You may notice break threw bleeding.
