This is document that i have in the same folder but want to put a link in my html which will open the word document!

it should be the same as linking any other file.. look on google for the proper way if that above link doesnt help

Place a link to it, something like,

You might like to see my document.

(...notice I left some spaces in the < p > tags for the benefit of our ol' pal Yahoo! Answers...) You know of course that "mydoc.doc" will be the name of your document file... So when someone's viewing the web page and they click the word "document", they'll be prompted either to download the document or open Word to look at it (depending on how THEY have their browser set up!).

same as you would linking to a html file. just call it whateveritis.doc

Give winword path first then document file name will do

well right click on the document and click on link as.... and than click the microsoft application

YOU ALSO CAN HIGHLIGHT WHAT YOU WANT IN HTML AND THEN RIGHT CLICK IN MICROSOFT WORD AND IT SHOULD HAVE A LINK THERE THAT SAY HYPERLINK AND THEN CLICK ON THAT AND GO FROM THERE.
