Which two teams go to the superbowl and why? I have kind of asked this question b4 and Im thinking Steelers & Buccaneers both teams have strong defenses. The pats look real beatable all of a sudden, the cowboys are great but romo choked last year and has to proof himself in the playoffs, the pac and colts have some injury issues.

finally, yet another person who thinks like me...something can freaking ensue...yet, I should not be as no longer elementary on the Colts, Packers, or Cowboys followers because of the fact i haven't heard lots of them assure a Superbowl win...those are the Pats followers. they're of their very own type... yet to respond to your question, i might gloat like loopy and bounce on the Superbowl champion's bandwagon just to work out how the band wagoners on the different communities react.

its gonna be the patriots and the packers or maybe dallas in the superbowl! yea the pats got caught doing that but everyone does it, AND they still killed them anyway, so it doesnt matter, they dont have to cheat to win, they r a GREAT team, they have the best QB in the NFL and good wide recievers, so ppl just wanna use the cheating incident as a way to take away how good the team is. Theyve played good games against the colts, eagles and the ravens but like i said b4 they ravens and eagles QB made alot of stupid mistakes!!!

I can't see any scenario in which the Cowboys don't make the SuperBowl.

NE and INDY have to deal with each other, but DAL should have a cake walk to the Super Bowl.

But to play your game and eliminate the top 4, if I had to pick....

AFC - (my guesses based on sched/standings)
1. NE
2. IND
3. PIT
4. SD
5. JAX
6. CLE

My guess would be PIT beats CLE and JAX knocks off SD in round 1. That sends JAX to NE and PIT to IND.

I just can't see Garrard and JAX going to NE in January and winning - even with how bad NE run defense looked last night. I can see PIT beating IND (I wouldn't bet on it, because PIT doesn't play well away from home, and the Colts own the Refs in INdy), but that could happen.

Then PIT would have to beat NE in NE (again, unlikely, but to hypothesize it is possible). So Pittsburgh is the only team other than Colts or Pats I can give any possibilty to in the AFC.

NFC

1. DAL
2. GB
3. SEA (easier sched the rest of the way than TB)
4. TB
5. NYG
6. MIN (I'm giving them the edge over ARZ for the last spot)

MIN can absolutely beat SEA - I don't think they will - I simply could not bet on Tavaris Jackson in a playoff game. NYG can't beat a halfway decent team and Eli won't show up for a playoff game, so TB wins.

MIN goes to Dallas, TB goes to GB. I can see Green Bay getting upset, especially against the best defense left in the NFC. Bucs will play smart, and Favre is always capable of the "I'm Bret Favre game", where he closes his eyes and throws the ball up for grabs 4 times.

Since I can't see Tampa going to Dallas and winning (Bucs play not to lose instead of trying to win. That may work against most of the putrid NFC, but not Dallas). As a result, you are forcing me to take Vikings over Cowboys. I would never make this bet; but Peterson makes anything possible.

This gives us a NFC title game of Bucs/Vikes. That works perfectly for TB - because playing not to lose against the Vikings is a perfect plan. Garcia would carve them up with safe plays, and the D would stack 8 on the line and dare Tarvaris to beat them.

Again- this will NEVER happen - DAL will be in the Super Bowl.

I would go with Vikings and Jaguars.

The Vikings running game is looking very strong lately whether they have Peterson in there or not. And the Jaguars are well balanced when Gerrard is healthy. They will cause people trouble in the playoffs.

I predicted at the beginning of the season that the Browns and Lions would play in the super bowl. There's still a slight chance of it happening.

Well, by process of elimination, you just narrowed it down to the next best teams...Not too hard...but I suppose those would be the logical picks...

I DONT THINK YOU CAN COUNT OUT THE CHARGERS AND POSSIBLY SEAHAWKS. THEY BOTH WENT PRETTY DEEP IN THE PLAYOFFS LAST YEAR AND MAY UPSET A FEW PEOPLE INSTEAD OF BEING UPSET THEMSELVES.
