As a liquid it is easier to store and transport larger volumes of the gas. It also is cold so that could be an issue. If the gas is flammable and some how ignites it will be a very large explosion due to the large volume of gas present.

burning LPG still produces CO2 . It will not solve the supposed problem of GW.
