first off the NIE report doesnt say with certainty that Iran is not pursuing nukes but that aside, the NIE was supposedly lying when they said Iraq was pursuing weapons, they were supposedly wrong in 2003 when they said Iran was pursuing nuclear weapons but NOW they must be right, and the Administration has been lying.

Well, its not that. The NIE estimates and assessments have consistantly supported the Democratic viewpoint. For innstance, despite the dishonest claims of Bush and the right-wing, the NIE never said in the last 4 years that Iran was continuing to pursure nuclear weapons. That claim was dreamed up by Bush and Cheney--but never with any actual evidence to support it.

All the NIE has done is clairified their esitimates--not changed them. And--they have again proven Bush to be a barefaced liar. He's known this for some time--a fact which prety much everyone knew.

Iran may have put their nuclear program on hold in 2003 because they lacked a reactor to refine the nuclear fuel needed for the bomb.

Politics, politics, politics.
Remove the names, throw them into a sack, shake that sack up, roll them all out, and "Guess What"?? Not a 'continental's worth of difference' !!!
At that / the time, it all depends on who is pitching, and who is catching.
