Hello...I will be 15 weeks pregnant tomorrow and have gained a solid 7 pounds. I was thin before pregnancy, but have always been a big eater. I eat more now, but not that much more than I did before, so I am worried the weight is piling on too fast. Could there be something wrong? Any advice or insight?

If you were thin before, you can stand to gain 35lbs. At nearly 4 months along (1/3 of the way there) you have only gained 1/5th the weight...dont worry about it.

You will go through a long slow weight gain period..then the last trimester you will put on a bit more rapidly.

Just try to keep it healthy..eat heathy, dont worry about it.

I was normally pretty thin when I got pregnant, although I have had to heavily diet my whole life to keep my weight.. When I got pregnant, I started eating normally and gained 20 lbs in a month. I freaked out. My doctor said he wasn't concerned at all...I was expecting a huge lecture. And then I haven't gained any weight since then. I wouldn't stress out...as long as you are trying to eat healthy with the occasional treat!

I understand your concern. I was 117 before I became pregnant, and I am about 5'9"
I am now 17 weeks pregnant and I have gained 14 pounds.
Don't worry about your weight so much. This is the time to eat when hungry. Just make sure that you are feeding yourself and your baby good healthy choices. Lean meats, cheese, veggies and fruit.
Good luck!

I did the same thing my first trimester! Now I am 34 weeks and I have gained about 35 pounds. Don't limit how much you eat, jus make healthy choices. I found that I could eat as much as I wanted if I snacked on better things like apples, grapes, ect. Also, watch your sodium intake b/c if you gain a lot quickly and you are eating a lot of salt you will swell.

Oh Lord- I am 12 weeks and have alreday gained 10 lbs! So you're doing well compared to me. I have been addicted to bagels and pizza the past few weeks so that's the culprit for me, but as far as I know at my point I should have gained 3- 10 lbs so I believe youre doing pretty well! Good luck and take care!

being pregnant means gaining weight! but if you get active this can control the weight gain, and watch what your eating, try healthy snacking and sugar intake, by no means am I saying to diet!
