Seen it on Oprah and was wondering if anyone really believes in "The Secret".... it kinda made sense to me. Tell me your thoughts!

It's simply the law of attraction and yes I believe it. I've been doing this for years and really had never thought about it being a universal law. The basic concept is :What you think about, you bring about. Take a moment to reflect on your life and I bet you'll find it to be true as well. You can start doing simple exercises to put it into practice. It's basic visualization. You imagine yourself having a thing or a situation and you bring it into your reality. Try it with something simple. I've had some very uncanny things happen especially with material things. Reading the secret made me realize how I was doing it. We've taught the concept to our kids and they amaze us with their stories. Good luck :)

In 1926, a man named Ernest Holmes wrote “It has taken humanity thousands of years to learn that it has the power to control its own destiny. The first principle fundamental to the understanding of the operation of thought is, that we are surrounded by an Infinite Intelligence -we are living in an Intelligent Universe, which responds to our mental states. To the extent that we learn to control these mental states, we shall automatically control our environment.
Holmes went on to develop the tools needed for people to understand the Law of Attraction and realize they could create whatever kind of life they want. Today this teaching is called Science of Mind – it’s not Scientology or Christian Science. It’s the marrying of quantum physics and spirituality that is addressed in the movie, The Secret. There are many places that these principles are taught. One of them is the Spirit of Life church in Laguna Hills. If you’re turned off by organized religion, no worries – no one would confuse this group with organized religion. Is it a church setting? Sort of. Do they sing songs? Yes, but never songs about heaven or the devil or sin because they believe those are all states of mind we put ourselves in.

hmmm i watched it until the secret of relationships.
actually im trying to practice it now and i also am keeping a gratitude stone, and my life has never been better ^-^
