We may have to understand the word revolution; What is it supposed to mean? A change in attitude? A sweeping social change? A political upheaval? An economic turnaround/new path? A religious realization/outrage? In a broad sense Asians are used to live in a socio economic frame work unique to their location ,inherent culture and economic variables. Thus we can either be blamed for being die hard traditionalists or people to have survived for millenia with a self imposed disciplined way of living. It certainly had its role in not keeping pace with scientific advancement but aren't Indians most accomplished and in most cases pioneering computer kings in the world? Isn't India a new destination for business in the field of Medicine with most advanced surgeries being done with felicity even in small places? TO BE SPECIFIC about books bringing revolution ,true , we donot get into revolutions that easily. Many are toiling for daily bread, too poor and in such disadvantagious section of society that you can't ask anything from them. Many of the Asian countries are ancient and diverse unlike many western nations where a uniform application or change in political/economic agenda are possible.Living conditions and practices widely vary within not far off distances and no doctrine can be applied in generalized terms either by individuals or the Governments. Those who matter may not be reading books of substance at all. Unfortunately easy money for some whether for professionals /businessmen/swindlers/politicians makes them feel any change is unnecessary and for havenots it matters least. There are no forums/concerted redressal cells/nobody is bothered as long as their daily routine is not affected. Thus all concerned prefer status quo to perpetuate their own brands of dominance in various fields. It should be admitted that reaction if not revolution surfaces for wrong reasons like that for Lajja by Taslima nasreen which is ignominous. Religious fanaticism and fundamentalism do have an undesirable and unfortunate role in the way people's behaviour and ideological stagnation. In some countries like Myanmar and China the word of military/dictatorial regime is gospel and a revolution would be of their brands.

Asia has people whose prime aim is survival. So for them forget about any revolution.
Most of the stakeholders of our society are acute conservatives. So for them forget about any revolution.
Asians put baseless stuffs like religion, caste(in India), region in front of common sense. So for them forget about any revolution.
The attitude of most of the people towards most of the things is mostly irrational or opposite. So for us THE ASIANS Forget About Any REVOLUTION.
