i think notre dame could beat ohio state the way they ended the year notre dame could of beat them.....there arent many other ways to compare them only the ways i just said and i think that next year notre dame is going all the way baby!!!!!

teams that get by on mostly reputation and are completely beholden to the BCS for continuing to keep them relevant (though Notre Dame also has help from NBC)

In what regard, how overrated both of the teams are ? How both often get free BCS bowl rides without having the entrance credentials ? How while they may have been great programs in the past, ... The past is over, and in the present and future both programs are not producing results that are in accordance to their fanfare / current reputations.
