Wow, really deep !!

I do not always see things clearly, as l think we humans keep some things under wraps and do not say or do what we really want to, so it is confusing to many of us.

Who truly see things clearly, if we did there would not be so much horror in the world, we would see what we have done to mankind by our deeds, what a wonderful world it would be if we all saw things clearly, imagine, we would help one another instead of fighting and ignoring others in their need.

That's why this month is so important, it is Christs birthday, he came to give us freedom and peace, and look what we have done with it, how can anyone see clearly when we only seem to think of ourselves.

There is a phrase I hang on to:
"We don't see things as they are-we see things as we are."
I try to keep an open mind, who am I today, what is my mood,
what is my motive.
I do see my life past clearly, the pieces of the puzzle fit, I
embrace and accept my journey thus far, but it is not over yet!
and, "Life is to be understood backwards, but to be lived
forward." I do better to stay in, "A day at a time." What I think today I may not think tomorrow. It is the journey that counts not the destination.

No, I can't always see things clearly?
One reason is I have never been taught about something or
I am not understanding something!
Usually when this happens I can go to God and I ask him
to help me understand. He will enlighten our understanding.
This is the best thing I know when life becomes unclear to me.
Or I talk to someone older than I who has wisdom and might
have an insight on a situation! :)

not all the time I do have to stand back when I want to see clearly and when it comes to acceptance it takes more effort with some things than others.

seeing things clearly, just as they are, is a liflong effort. humans have fairly limited perspective, and fairly limited sense organs-- but our brains are quite impressive, and we can continue to build on our perceptiveness to no end.
acceptance, i believe, is the only realistic option for things in your life; denying things that simply ARE will be a great hindrance to seeing things clearly. however, you can also accept that things are constantly changing, and decisions you make can have some impact on the way in which things change.

All your questions have the same meaning: they all imply that humans are unable with their minds to see reality as it really is, that the mind is an insufficient and flawed tool for knowing reality, as if there were other and better means at our disposal. Can you name one?

Man is not omniscient and he is not infallable. We can make mistakes in judgment. Well, that's how we get to know what's real. Reality has the amazing quality that it doesn't care if we know it or not. We have an interest in making the distinction between right and wrong, real and unreal, true and false. If we don't do well at it...we pay the price.

Right now I am having a battle with my own body perception. So no I am not seeing my own body as it really is. I am afraid that I will wake up in the morning and I will have all the weight that I lost back again. It is my nightmare and it haunts me..... sometimes when I look in a mirror, I see myself as obese and not the thin person I am now.

I'm a pragmatic phantasmagoricalist..down to earth but
always wearing rose coloured glasses. I see the reality
but love just a little sprinkling of glitter on everything. I
do however stay clear of department store three way
mirrors...how do they ever sell anything?
