Well, during, if the teacher allows, I have heard that chewing gum helps to activate certain parts of the brain and to make it work more efficiently. Before, studying. The more prepared I am the better I do and the more confident I am when I am going into it.

Lots of things.

1) Don't study or read anything in the exam hall. In the tension surrounding you, all you'll do is forget what you learned earlier.

2) Relax. Chewing gum helps (If allowed, I had a friend thrown out for doing that in the exam hall).

3) Don't disturb or talk to others. Just sit in your designated place and wait for the invigilator.
