I am going through a divorce and and really rethinging my car payments. The amount was ok when I was married ( he makes pretty good money) but now that Im on my own I would really like to get it refinanced. Anyone know how to go about doing this? Ive only had the car for about 4 months.

That depends on how long the current loan is for, and how your credit and income are. You might or might not be able to stretch out the payments. Check first with your current lender, or with a credit union if you have one available.

Credit unions are good for this sort of thing...if you don't belong to one already, look around your area for one. They offer the lowest rates and some of them specialize in auto financing. Also find CUs at ncua.gov.

you should wait about a year before refiancing(it would lower your payments more) or maybe put a little down payment down (like $1000). If you have an account with a small credit union, they will usually do it.
