San Diego . . . Super Chargers. Somewhat obscure Chris Berman reference, anyone? Anyone? Ah, nevermind.

I'm going to agree with the Troy Polamalu. He has been injured the past three games, however in comparison with past seasons he has not been as explosive of a player. He has had no sacks yet this year and only 33 tackles, as compared with 67,73,57 years prior. He's also had no int's this season as opposed to 5,2,3 in years prior.
Understandably, the season isn't over yet, but when he gets back in the game he'll have lots of work to do if he wants to put up the same numbers he has before.

Chad Pennington.
It's not all his fault though, the team is awful.
They lost their All-Pro center Mawae two years ago, then they lost All-Pro guard Pete Kendall right before this season. Add a pourous defense, and Chad didn't have much of a chance.
I hope he re-energizes his career next season, either with the Jets or on *greener* pastures.

Brian Urlacher, but I think that has something to do with his back.
I hope that he can work through whatever is going on and become healthy again.
Although the defensive line in front of him isn't as good this year due to injury and loss of players, Urlacher just does not seem to have the same pop when he hits people this year.

Steve Smith of the Panthers. He really hasn't done much this year, but that could also be due to the QB nightmare in Carolina. Delhomme out, Carr out, Testaverde not always reliable in terms of health, the rookie Moore, they just aren't having any luck at QB. Also I think they should have kept Keyshawn Johnson, because Dwane Jarrett hasn't seemed to do much this year either.

Pats fan and after seeing his speed in the first game I thought Adalis Thomas would be a force but he seems to be chasing plays all the time rather than making plays.

Larry Johnson. He signed an inflated contract and then put forth an average performance, at best. I love the Chiefs (because I'm a masochist, clearly), but LJ was highly overrated going into this year.
