Why does the US want to produce under educated people? Do we want to fail as a nation? At this rate how much longer are we going to last as a Nation?

I have been down south many areas did not seemed concerned about education, althought it may have been to the fact that none was really offered. WHy miss something you never knew about.

I learned most of this in high school, Although it was a Catholic school. You should add public school somewhere in your question.
