These are things that help with independant thought and also being able to defend a position with logic and yeah Speech class is something that I thinks help one think also.

Why does the US want to produce under educated people? Do we want to fail as a nation? At this rate how much longer are we going to last as a Nation?

P.S. But people think writing dictates intelligence which is a personal attack, but that is all the debate tactics that are used these days.
