not me but my boyfriends sister.
her friends were calling her mobile and making hissing noises, calling her a slut, pretending to be police reporting her family members as killed in an accident and other awful things.
she was very upset and scared, eventually we got her brother (not my boyfriend-the other one) to answer and read out their mobile number, say he knew who she was and the police had been called and they never called again, all of those girls came up to her the next day and tried to explain what they were doing and that it was a huge joke, she told them to get stuffed, and hasnt spoked to them since.

I think cyber bullying is a serious issue in this world. I think its definitely just as bad as bullying at school/work because words do hurt, whether its said to your face or on the computer. And no i have never been cyber bullied, but i still feel strongly against it.

Anyone who cyber bullies another individual is just as insecure as the person that they're bullying. As someone who struggles with clinical depression, there are some days where some sh*t that happens really makes me question my existence and what I'm living for, but I manage to press on. Keep in mind that any of your words on the internet could translate into someone taking drastic action on the other end. Not everyone in the world has the same levels of sensitivity, just keep that in mind as well. I'm just providing some insight as someone that has been bullied on the internet and in real life.

its a different type of bullying but it still affects some people that are very sensitive and can still have the same effects.
No i have never been cyber bullied.
But if i ever was I would delete the person and have not contact with them,
people like that have serious mental problems there are definitely evil people out there with nothing to do!!!!

I'm against it.
I've never been cyber-bullied. Although different, I think it can be just as bad, if not worse than schoolyard bullying. What cyber bullying lacks in the physical aspect it makes up for in the wide distribution and information-sharing aspect.

Work/school at least you dont have to deal with it once you get home. Cyber bullying, there's no escaping it, except logging off.
I think that the consequences for bullying needs to be much more severe.

cyber bullied? what can they do, steal your credit card information? It's one thign to be bullied in person becuase thats mostly actions but to "cyber bully" Its all talk. You would have to explain to what extent the "bully" people online. I mean you could put up a naked picture of them that would be wrong but it you just ina chat room and they call you fat then wtf?
I think people need to grow a pair (women too) and step up for themselved, jesus all you hear about today is how people aren't treated fairly. Step up and take whats yours and dont let people push you around and demean you!

A girl in my area was bullied and committed
suicide, Missouri legislature is passing a bill and Governor will like sign bill against cyber bullying ~~~~ ITS OVERDUE~~~ so it will be against law in MO w/ 4 yrs felony prison term... the trolls will be removed once and for all...

Not a nice thing to do...people that do it are insecure and have emotional problems. Yup, just as bad in the real world as cyber. Haven't been, but I know someone who was, but they stood up to them.
