1. you can't copyright a name or title. you can register your company dba name with the Secretary of State office where you reside. if you incorporate, your name is automatically registered (no 2 corporations can have the same name).

2. google. most states have an online database of corporations and registered business names.

3. your logo is automatically copyrighted once drawn in fixed form. if you had an artist design it, you will need a contract that transfers the rights to you. however this does not offer protection from "similar but different" logos that might be used by imitators, just protects the "real thing". To get protection from imitation requires a federal trademark.

4. business name registration $100- 200 typical, incorporation varies a lot from state. copyright is free, registration $45 (optional), trademark will run several thousand.
