Hi there! My husband just got a nice bow, and it was around 600 bucks. It was a Matthews brand. I shoot a PSE brand, and they're usually cheaper (mine was 300 on sale, but it's smaller than a men's bow). My husband's arrows usually cost around 100-120 for 12 of them. You also need to get the sights, a release, and other things (people at Bass Pro or Cabelas could help you, or go to the company's website). After he gets it, he'll need to have everything customized to his size/draw length/peep etc... Hope this helps!!

I'd estimate around 500+ for the bow, arrows are extra, but depend on what type they are, hunting arrows tend to be more expensive.
