No no no no no! Don't be a nervous wreck! This isn't helpful to you, nor is it helpful to the baby. It's probably just as the midwife has told you, just extra amnionic fluid, and everything is just fine. You need to save your strength for your baby's labor and delivery.
I'm sorry to hear about your little girl. I do understand your worry as I have lost a baby this past year as well. Number 5 would have been born the past March. My Number 3 was huge and measured 42 at 37 weeks and they did an ultrasound that showed he was 11 pounds! Luckily, he was only 9 pounds 4 ounces, born 3 weeks early, and it was a lot of water.
You will be fine. Trust your midwife.
Good luck to you!

oh please dont worry about it, im 29 weeks and measuring 35! im not sure yet what the problem is but getting checked tommorow, but trust me it could be alot worse than excess fluid though i understand why you are woried having lost a baby. please try not to worry all will be fine just think of it as your baby having extra water in its swimming pool :) im not sure if you might go into labour early or late you would be better off asking your midwife, but dont worry just enjoy your pregnancy it will be over before you know it and its not good for the baby if you are stressed so take a deep breath, relax and ask your midwife/gp/obstetritian or whoever as soon as you can all the things you want to know and it will put your mind at ease

you need to calm down!!!!! dont focus on what went wrong before, plenty of people lose babies and go on to have healthy ones, i've had three of each. chill out, put your feet up and have a nice cup of hot chocolate. enjoy the peace and quiet cos once little one comes along you wont get much of that. extra fluid does make you huge. and measuring your bump isnt a fail safe way of ensuring a healthy pregnancy. look out for warning signs of labour, such as increased braxton hicks, (they often turned into labour for me) a decrease in movement, although you should still feel ten movements a day, a show or lower back ache, and in your thighs, these are general indicators that labour will start soon. just try to relax cos stress wont do either of you any good. good luck with the little one.

At 36 weeks even if your baby was born right now he or she would be fine ... they can live outside the womb at 36 weeks.
My friend just had twins 4 months ago and they came early ... they are active and healthy as I am writing to you. They were if I remember right a month early so about right were you are now.
Plus you still could carry to term the same friend I am talking about was measuring bigger then how far along she was with her first pregnancy. With him she carried all the way till a week before her due date ... the reason for her measuring so big was because he was a big baby. So it may just be that the baby is going to be big.

This is a condition called 'polyhydramnios' which just happens to some pregnant women. I had it with my last pregnancy and it does not have any impact on the baby at all and is a completely harmless condition. The only advice I can give is that if your waters break, elevate your bum and go to the hospital pretty handy because believe you me there will be a really big gush!!! Truly though, nothing at all to worry about.Good luck with it all xxx

If you are that worried then go and see a doctor for a second opinion but at 36 weeks you could still deliver a healthy baby .
Don't fret your almost there , the big day will be soon.
Congratulations

You sound like my sister, she went a week over, but I've never seen such a huge bump! and she suffered with fluid retention on her ankles etc.
Hope you go soon though as I know it's a nightmare near the end, so uncomfortable x

I know a lot of people who have had kids that had that ultrasound that tells you the weight and not ONE of them was accurate.... my doctor even said he wouldn't do one because they are too inacurate. Don't fret. Good luck and congrats...
