Their advanced policies of open borders, retreat in the face of danger, granting citizen's rights to illegal aliens, negotiations with terrorist sponsor nations, the taking of property and wealth from those who have earned it for "the common good",
will have almost immediate and devastating effects on the economy and the citizens from which we may not be able to recover.
The tragedy of the movement of the poverty line northward over a 1000 miles will be insurmountable.

Yes we can. And the country will be much stronger because the left will fade away. Things always get worse before they get better. I am looking forward to an end to socialism and the left. The democrats are on their last legs now. They either come back to the center, or they become irrelevant. Remember, we survived Jimmy Carter. We can survive anything.

I believe that we have had open boarders for the last seven years and Bush supported granting citizen's rights to illegal aliens so why do you think it is the fault of the Democratic party and not the Republicans.

Since the historical record show the the economy does better when a Democrat holds the presidency, your belief that one will have almost immediate and devastating effects on the economy is a Republican election year fantasy based on no facts. The same message was repeated endlessly in 1992 but the Clinton years produced the best economic growth and lowest unemployment since the 1960's.

I think that the time has come to realize that the two major parties in the US are basically the same. They may appear different on the surface, but they both follow the agendas that are given to them by big business, big Pharma, big Oil, and the interest groups spawned by these multinational organizations.

It will not make much difference who is elected because they serve the same masters.

The possible exception to this is Ron Paul, who looks to be the only candidate who is not "bought and paid for", and who really has the interests of the people and the Constitution at heart.

I hope he wins, because I think he is America's only chance to survive as a free nation.

Perhaps, but here's a better question...
CAN THE WORLD SURVIVE another crappy term for republican idiots who want to wage war on every country in the world? Pretty soon, if republicans have their way, there will be no more America, and no more world. Waging of war on these countries will only lead to nuclear war, and eventually we'll all die, cause stupid republicans can't get a clue...

The dems really don't have a lot going for them. I will be surprised if they win.
