Regardless of what hours you work, take your temperature before you even get out of bed from sleeping(whether you sleep at night or day).

Even though you work 3rd shift, your body does not think that. If you sleep as soon as you get home from work, then take it when you get up for the day, even if it is at 9pm.

Your temp is suppose to be taken after a nights rest, but in your case it would be day, but it is the same thing.

It should be completely accurate if you take your temp at the same time every day...regardless of whether it's morning or not when you take it. But remember, for it to be completely accurate, you need to take it at the SAME time EVERY day. It probably wouldn't hurt to skip a day or two though. You don't want it to become like a chore! Good Luck!
