Nope because I'm never giving up, and never backing down either. My faith in God gives me the motivation and also those that do love me. As an advanced cancer survivor of close to 11 years now, I am really glad just to be here and now have a different appreciation of life and thankful of all my blessings with life being the biggest one.

what is it that is making you give up? if you give in to it, you will be making it the ruler of your life. you own you, your life and all, not some problem or situation. Rise above it, your entire future is enough motivation,. you are only 20, young and full of life. you could be a real celebrity especially with all of the encouraging talent hunt programmes on, you could even be our next Oprah or something, the world needs you, that is why God made you and that's why you are here.
(to stay)

A decade and a half ago, but now- NEVER!
My Motivation? I understand problems/challenges are for (re)solving. Every problem has a solution.
It seems most peoples' concept of the living experience is backwards. It seems they think life is supposed to be happy times with occassional inconveniences; when in reality, life is constantly full of inconveniences, sprinkled with moments of happiness.
If/when I go to sleep, I can hardly wait to wake up and get to facin' and fixin' the unpredictable challenges life throws my way.
And I'll tell you, the more you resolve unfavorable situations (problems), the more your ability to findsolutions to problems increase!
I hope this helps.
Be Well,
DGRDH!!!

I did in my early 20's. Not letting down my family at the time was my motivation to have me go on.

No I never do. Even though I'm facing life-altering surgery today, and it's looking more and more like Ovarian cancer, how could I give up on all the joy that my beloved husband had brought to me, our 2 incredible kids, the family that surrounds us with love, our friends that care and cherish us no matter what is going on. There are so many beautiful things in life that are there for the taking if you'd just open your eyes and see them... ♥

you have to quit feeling sorry for yourself & act to change your situation. Everyone goes through tough times, some more than others. You will be stronger by living through them. Be productive, find something that makes you feel good.
Think about the pain you will cause, think about the permanace of the decision to take your life. there is no going back, no second chance. Email me if you like, I have had people I love go through these feelings..

I think everyone on the face of the earth has had that feeling at one time or another. Life can be stressful at times. There are two things that carry me through: first my strong faith in God. I know that I can go to Him and He always walks me through. Second, my children. If I gave up on life it would also mean that I gave up on my children. Even though they are all adults now (my youngest is 18) giving up on life would mean that I also gave up on them. It would cause them a whole lot of pain, and I would never want to cause my children pain.

No, I've never wanted to give up completely.
Sometimes we go through depressing periods, then the depression lifts and things get better. It's just hard to see that sometimes.
It WILL get better, just give it a chance.
Just don't do things purposely to make things worse. That's a big mistake. Look at things as though they will improve and they usually do.

My two best friends have saved my life countless times. I don't know where I'd be without them.
The thing you have to remember is that things are only as complicated as you allow them to be. Don't live for other people. You need to do what you want to do. If you're always living up to others' expectations, you'll never be happy.
Hold your head up. You will get through this.
Good luck. :)
