Yes, I would like to see General Santos again. Used to be called Dadiangas.

I have been to Mindanao ( places like Davao, Cotabato, Kidapawan, Cagayan De Oro, ... )

I live in Metro Manila, we also have bombings

If you invite, yes I would come with the rst of the YAPpers. That would be one big eyeball opportunity. Maybe even Allan Y from Kidapawan would grace the event.

I have been to GenSan a lot. Used to go out with the station manager of DXGS until he passed away. Then, the best hotel was something called Fela Grande, so you can imagine how long ago that was. I have even been to Manny Pacquiao's barangay because a friend used to live there, but that was long before Manny Pacquiao became a household word.

I like GenSan, and wouldn't mind visiting. Besides, you gotta go when you gotta go, as they say. No scary place thingie, huh.

Oh yes, I would. The only place I've visited in Mindanao is Zamboanga City. I'd been to M'lang Cotabato but as a toddler so that doesn't count. So yes, I'd like to visit South Cotabato - Gensan and Koronadal, in particular - to see my friends Allan & Tranquil and also the Dole plantation...and meet you. I'm a Filipina...I'm not scared to go anywhere in my own country!!!

_____
So sorry Khushi, forgot to thank you for the invite. My manners left me there for a moment. I'm sleepy.

I don't think Mindanao is scary. I spent my childhood days in Davao and stayed in a place surrounded by muslim mosques. They seem to be nice people though. GenSan is the hometown of Manny Pacquiao so it's kind of interesting to me to visit it

Yes, Khushi =)

I've never been to Mindanao and I heard that you are abundant in tuna, am I right? Also, I want to see Manny Pacquiao's mansion...coz I study architecture. =)

And no, GenSan is not the scariest for me...I think it's Jolo or anywhere in Sulu, Cotabato, and Zamboanga.

if you provide for transpo, meal, place to stay i would even be asking how many days would be my free vacation...

10 bombings in 6 years... very little risk... its even lower than 0.005%... the risk of crash landing is higher...
