I've done so much more entertaining in the last five years than I ever did in the 17 years I was married to my ex and I found I really like it. My big mistake, though, was preparing all the food, not eating a regular meal with the guests, and drinking too much during the party. i know better now.

Not too big of a party. Too many people and it can get out of hand, especially cost wise

No, I'd rather go somewhere else to one.
That way, I can leave when I want to, instead of waiting for others to leave. Been there, done that.
