Yes, honey, i did something really foolish,
i was given a gift card, i placed in my shirt pocket. After the purchases were checked, i found myself looking all around, i couldn't find it, i thought i dropped it, i paid for the purchase, with cash. Left the store, at home, i found where it was, so wanted to return to use the card, to replace the money, or get something for someone else, i noticed i couldn't because some of the bar code was scraped off, and i misplaced the receipt. I was so angry..because again, i was paying for something i otherwise wouldn't have had to.

Shew! I thought I was the only one. The worst is my keys or my cell phone. If I have several things in my hand, sometimes I won't realize that I am holding it the whole time. Makes me feel like an idot when I realize I have been looking for nothing.

No, because I lost it when I lost my hand !
No, because I lost my earring when I lost my ear !
I went to Vegas, when I approached the blackjack table i decided to put my money on the seat then sit on it, so i wouldn't lose it.
Then like most people that go to Vegas, I lost my a** !

of course. the hand, the hair, the pocket. does not matter. it happens and it has nothing to do with age or forgetfulness. just one of those things. sometimes i can search for something for hours only to find out later (after i had given up) that i had it the entire time.

one of life's humorous traits.

ROFL yup I have "lost" my keys and I would look EVERYWHERE for them! Then my kids would say uh..Mom they r in ur hand. My son does it too sometimes. He will be playing with his pokemon cards and he would ask me if I have seen his deck and he is holding it.

Yes ALL THE TIME!
I lose my headband/sunglasses all the time when they are on my head. And I also THINK I lose stuff when I am sitting o it, in my hand ect. quite frequently. :D
