Why do so many women especially buy into that garbage. Bra or no bra, depending on their size, weight and fullness they are going to sag no matter what. And then I hear people say for those who already sag bra is the answer to get them perky again. bleh

I put this laughable myth right next to the 'guys wearing briefs vs boxers' one

ladyluck, wow, u wear 40DD i cant imagine the weight those got. of course they would sag! They're both big and heavy. Yours were dropping to begin with I'm sure but I'm speaking for women whose aren't dropping but are being told to wear bra or else..

Spongebob, your case is understandable I can totally see the need in those 'big' cases.

alexandersmama16, I'm not fooling myself I know once you get to a B sagging is inevitable (remember when i said that?), but bra isnt the only thing that can slow them down, diet and excercise can help keep your whole body up for longer. You have a say in how quickly you make your body age. But once again, I never said they wont drop

I don't think there is any dispute that sagging will eventually occur.
It's a fact of aging, just like wrinkles.

The issue is whether you choose to delay it as much as possible.
If you are well endowed & make a habit of frequently going au naturel, you're going to lose firmness sooner than those who stave off gravity's effects.

...But hey, I'm only a guy; when it comes to having breasts, I only know what I read.

A lot of the time not wearing a bra will make breasts sag no matter what size or shape they are.

However, wearing a bra won't help for the biggest and saggiest of breasts. I used to be a 38J and I wore supportive bras, and they still sagged. Bras didn't help at ALL.

Breasts will sag. Gotta love gravity!

Agreed, however I do think that when you are unfortunately given "monster mammaries" like myself, any support available is gladly accepted....

hey will eventually sag but if i can delay the process by a couple of years, i'll gladly do so... I dont think its a matter of the sagging so much, but more along the lines of streching the delicate skin in the area - Stretch Marks aren't the greatest thing to end up with on your chest....

Matter of preference i think - but im comfortable wearing bras so i prefer to do so... There is also nothing sex about a girl with huge boobies and no bra on - gravity takes its toll...

I agree boobs are going to sag no matter what. Wearing a good bra could slow it down though. My friend who is a B cup if she was lucky. Never wore a bra or when she did it was a cheap low quality one. When she was 22 she had the droopiest boobs. She had the boobs of a much older woman. I'm a large chested woman and I wear the proper bra and a good quality one. And even though I'm getting older they don't sag as bad as hers did then. So yes and no to the bra myth. It can help slow it down but not stop it and no bra can reverse droop once it's there.

Edited to add: Look honey you don't want to wear a bra don't wear a bra. But don't fool yourself into thinking they aren't going to get droopy saggy. And possibly look like two fried eggs hanging off a nail. But again speaking for the DD's on here. Sure they sag a little but they are still fabulous.

Yeah- even the nurses in the hospital where I gave birth said I needed to wear a bra or my breasts would sag. I doubt that made much of a difference either way.

i quote that pearl of know-how to myself frequently, frequently after a 'butter-bar' or bigger rank shows i do some thing that could harm my destiny potentialities of attaining 40.whilst a lieutenent says "in my adventure",and a captain says "the colonel needs",then in those 2 circumstances i tell myself 'you're in huge worry now!.'

It's 100% true. I have 40DD and if I don't wear a bra they sag and look horrible. When I wear a bra, they have a much better shape and I can do more (like go down stairs without pain).

The only people this rule doesn't apply to are people with smaller breasts. They are able to stand up more and don't jiggle as much...

Sorry but you are wrong on this one. Spoken like a true ity bitty titty committee member
