For me I can think of a lot better and more enjoyable things to spend 3000 dollars on. Are these football fans crazy? Some of them even stand in line out in frigid weather, 12 hours for a chance to grab up such a deal.

If you are wealthy, make yourself happy, but wouldn't it save you money if you'd watch it on t.v.?? You'd have your own favorite seat!! And no stranger would give you a dirty look when you get up to cheer and spill your popcorn all over them!! Your dog could be your vacuum cleaner after that!!

no but I'm cheap.

what is included with that your airplane ticket and hotel, and the game ticket and parade?

I would say maybe cut that in half

maybe $600 for the game ticket
maybe about $700 for the hotel ( for a week)
maybe $200 for a round trip flight

$1,500 total. I might be under estimating, but $2,000 seems like it would be the max.

What some of these ignorant people don't realize it doesn't matter their record if it's their team they should want to see them in a bowl game. There are alot of fairweather fans answering this question.

I dont think I would spend that much for something like that. I would much rather go to the superbowl, go on a cruise, pay bills, or even save it for paying off my tuition. Even then, I would prob. still have money left over. Geez.... must be nice for some people to blow money like a "baller"...

... & 12 hrs in the cold??? That's love for your team, because I prob. wouldnt do it!!!

as an illinois fan, its probably a once in a lifetime experience to see them in the rose bowl. im seriously considering the trip. besides, its just money, i can always earn more.

EDIT: Illinois is 9-3

SECOND EDIT: to the people who cheer for usc, lsu, ohio state, etc. you are used to being a national contender every year. its been a special season for illinois. if your team won 2 games last year and is in a bcs game this year, you would feel a lot differently....

No way. 3K will get me a nice flat screen TV, a lot of diet coke and I can spend it indoors, with my family and call it good.

No, if I had that kind of money I'd spend it on a ten day Mexican cruise in January.
