Reversing the polarity doesn't work on AC.
Only on Direct current.......If you want to change the direction of the air flow you might be able to change the pitch of the blades ie. the angle. from / to \ this.

yes but not worth the effort, you would have to remove the polarity guard portion of the electric circuit then reverse the polarity.

Buy a new fan
