I wanna upgrade my manufacture wheels to 20''(front-9.5,rear-10.5) wheels will it be OK?Coz I've heard that if it's 4wheel drive then something terrible could happen to my car.I also want to put tires:275/40/20 to front and 315/35/20 to rear.Will it work?Thanks in advance!
p.s.Please do not suggest me to call to BMW dealership,coz I allready did and those douches don't know anything!!!

According to tirerack.com, you can install 20" wheel/tire size with different widths, but your rear tire size is off... it should be 295/40-20

But remember that the disadvantage of having different widths is that you wouldn't be able to rotate the tires.

The DSC/ABS system works on the basis of comparing wheel speeds. That's how it knows if one wheel is slipping or if you are about to go into a tailspin.

If you use front and back tires of different rotational diameter (so they rotate at different rpms for the same road speed), the system may give you a warning light and disables itself thinking it's a sensor malfunction. It may also have detrimental effects on your transfer case.

I would recommend that you make the front and rear widths the same.
